I’m thrilled to have you join me on this adventure through Universal Orlando Resort. My journey with the parks began in 2017, and ever since, I’ve been making multiple visits per year to soak in the magic, thrills, and experiences that only Universal can offer. Each trip holds a special place in my heart and contributes to my wealth of personal experiences that I love sharing with you.
In 2019, my life took a turn when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Navigating a gluten-free lifestyle can be challenging, especially when traveling, but I’ve embraced it as an opportunity to deepen my understanding and connection with the world around me.
At UOR, I’ve explored every gluten free option available and developed park dining tips that ensure a safe and delicious experience for those who need it. Also, since I was diagnosed after many trips and continue to travel with people who consume gluten, I also know the good gluten “full” stuff, too!
Throughout my visits, I’ve learned that Universal Orlando is more than just theme parks and theme hotels. It’s a place where cherished memories are created, where every ride, show, and meal can bring a sense of wonder and joy.
If you have searched for information about the parks on social media in the past decade, you know there is a very dedicated and loyal “theme park community.” I love them, but I am not them. I do not look at Universal through rose colored glasses or fawn over every aspect of the resort. I will tell you if something is good in my opinion, and I will also tell you if something is bad in my opinion. If I recommend something in these guides, it is because I truly love it and think you will to.
I’m here to share my heartfelt insights, from insider tips to hidden gems to what to know before you go, and to be a supportive companion on your own Universal journey. Whether you’re a seasoned visitor or planning your first trip, my hope is to help you unlock the magic of Universal Orlando Resort.
