What To Know About Universal Orlando Rides

At this time there are three (3) important category exceptions to consider.

Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure (North Campus theme parks)

UPDATE: As of May 30, 2025, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ is accepting the Universal Express Pass.

Universal EPIC Universe (South Campus theme park)

• Every major attraction at Universal EPIC Universe has express pass access except Dragon Racer’s Rally.
• Every major attraction at Universal EPIC Universe has a single rider line except Dragon Racer’s Rally and Hiccup’s Wing Gliders.

UNLOCKED TIP: Dragon Racer’s Rally is missing both popular ride queues and it’s already a disappointing ride to begin with. If you have to skip an EPIC Universe ride, that’s the one to skip. UNLOCKED TIP: The child swap feature allows one supervising adult to stay in a separate area with the kids in their party who either don’t meet the ride requirement or don’t care to experience the attraction, while the other supervising adult rides with the rest of their party. Then each supervising adult switches without standing in line all over again, allowing each supervising adult to experience the attraction in a convenient way.
