Beginnings
Universal officially announced EPIC Universe in 2019, marking the largest theme park expansion in Universal Orlando Resort’s history.
This highly anticipated park promises to deliver next-level immersion, cutting-edge attractions, and all-new themed lands. After 2020 construction delays, development resumed in full force, with Universal confirming a 2025 grand opening.
EPIC Universe is designed to be a completely separate park from Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, connected by a brand-new resort district and hotel offerings.

EPIC Universe Today
Now that EPIC Universe is officially open, guests are discovering exciting details about its attractions, lands, and overall experience.
The park features four immersive worlds surrounding a celestial-themed central hub, offering a new level of storytelling and ride technology.
