The ride and attraction summaries include the following:
Location: Where is the ride or attraction located in the theme park?
UNLOCKED TIP: Use the interactive map in the official Universal Orlando app to find out where every ride is located in each theme park and theme land.
Attraction Type: Is the attraction a ride, show, play area, thrill ride, coaster, 3D/4D, kids ride, or water ride?
Indoor or Outdoor: The major attractions at Islands of Adventure are mostly outdoor.
Requirements: Height requirements, weight requirements, companion information, and infant requirements.
Express Pass: Rides that accept the Universal Express Pass allow guests to scan their express pass and enter a separate, quicker line to get on the ride.

Single Rider: Rides that have a single rider line allow guests to enter a typically much shorter line to get on the ride. As the name implies, you ride alone, and all members of your party will be slotted where they best fit with guests who stand in the main ride line.
NOTE: On Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™, the single rider will always ride in the sidecar.
Child Swap: The child swap feature allows one supervising adult to stay in a separate area with the kids in their party who either don’t meet the ride requirements or don’t care to experience the attraction, while the other supervising adult rides with the rest of their party. Then each supervising adult switches places without standing in line all over again, allowing each supervising adult to experience the attraction in a convenient way.
More Ride Summaries
Accessibility: Universal Orlando has a very inclusive policy where all park entrances, restaurants, on-site hotels, transportation, and ride and ride queues are constructed to accommodate guests using wheelchairs. Most attractions can accommodate these guests, either in the wheelchair itself, or by transferring the guest to the ride seat.
Seat Check: High thrill rides and attractions at Islands of Adventure have test seats at each of their entrances. These seats are available—and highly recommended—to ensure that guests can fit securely and appropriately within the attraction seat restraints so that Universal Orlando can maintain the highest safety standards for guests.
Locker Storage: Various attractions at Islands of Adventure prohibit loose articles while you experience the ride. These attractions have locker storage available to store your belongings before you enter the ride queue.
Metal Detector: There are two (2) rides at Islands of Adventure that have metal detectors: Jurassic World VelociCoaster and The Incredible Hulk Coaster. The loose articles policy is strictly enforced at these attractions, which means you have to store your phone (which most people hang on to on the regular locker storage rides).

Every Ride and Attraction at Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure—opened on May 28, 1999—is the second theme park and third installation at Universal Orlando Resort. It features mainly outdoor rides and attractions that will close during inclement weather.

Just watch out for the 400-foot freefall.
5. Me Ship, the Olive®

- Official Description: Well blow me down. This colorful ship is an imaginative play area packed with fun from bow to stern. You’ll slosh your way through twists and turns along with lovably laughable Royal Canadian Mountie, Dudley Do-Right. As you approach a nail-biting 75-foot drop, get ready to whoosh down the track for the biggest splash of your life.
8. Skull Island: Reign of Kong™
IMPORTANT: Though this attraction has a height requirement that will sweep up younger kids, it has intense and frightening scenes that are likely not suitable for young children. It’s scary for Universal Unlocked, frankly.

9. Camp Jurassic™

10. Pteranodon Flyers™
IMPORTANT: This ride seats two people. Kids have to be between 36 inches and 56 inches to ride this attraction. This height restriction doesn’t apply to adults who accompany children under 48 inches. Two adults cannot ride together. This means that: (a) children under 36 inches cannot ride, (b) two kids between 48 inches and 56 inches can ride together, and (c) any person over 56 inches must ride with a child under 56 inches.
